How Swan TTC Works

The Swan Trade Training Centre (STTC) offers a fixed two year course over Years 11 and 12 which allows students to graduate from Swan Christian College with their WACE, including the successful completion of the Certificate III Business and Certificate II Pre-apprenticeship in their chosen trade course inclusive of 200 hours of work experience.

Students attend the STTC full time, completing their Pre-apprenticeship course as approximately one third of their academic program. Work experience will be completed in one-week blocks every term.

STTC is a dedicated trade training facility that operates within all of the existing procedures and policies of Swan Christian College.  On a day-to-day basis, Mr Peter Bolt, Head of the Training Centre reporting to the Principal, operates the centre.

Students at the Swan Trade Training Centre will continue to participate in all House-based pastoral activities including sports carnivals, College assemblies, camps, Year 11 Supper Dance and the Year 12 Charity Ball.  Selected students are involved in the College student leadership programs.
