Christian Living

Christian Living is a program designed to enhance the students understanding of Biblical Principles and how these relate to our lives. The Christian Living program aims for each student to understand the love of God as demonstrated through the person and work of Jesus Christ. The program also reveals the abundant life that is offered to those who choose to live their lives through a personal relationship with God.

All students regardless of their 'religious' convictions will benefit from expanding their awareness of Christian teachings and applying the morals and values which they purport. We understand that not all students share the same beliefs presented in the Christian Living program and that there is a broad spectrum of understanding on different issues. For this reason, the lessons are designed to be inclusive so that individuals can take time to process the Christian understanding and arrive at their own conclusions. We try to create a safe environment where students are encouraged to ask questions and express their own opinions of different topics.

Each student from Year 8 to 12 has Christian Living twice a week and students in Year 9 to 12 rotate teachers every term. This structure allows students to witness a broad range of perspectives and a deeper appreciation of each topic as teachers draw on their particular area of expertise.
