Swanonline is an online distance education provider for the global community based in Perth, Western Australia. Swanonline encourages, educates and equips students to be prepared for our ever changing world, as every student is valued and uniquely created. In each student, we strive to develop the seven pillars of: Courage, Service, Wisdom, Engagement, Leadership, Spirituality and Knowledge, on their journey towards adult life.
In recognition that every student is unique, we understand that the 'traditional' school model does not necessarily suit everyone. The Swanonline philosophy is to provide the opportunity for all students to receive a quality values based education regardless of their location.
Students from Years 7 - 11 actively participate in a range of core subjects, electives, WACE (Western Australian Certificate of Education) curriculum subjects and Certificate III courses. Students access information online, submit assessments and engage with online teachers using online tools on a regular basis as part of their learning.
Online Teachers
Our teachers are registered with the West Australian College of Teaching. They act as educators, mentors, encouragers and opportunity-makers for your children. At Swanonline, we recognise parents as the prime educators of their children and value the dynamic and unique partnership we build between home and school. Teachers provide tuition support and are readily contactable for students through email, online communication, or by phone.
