Mundaring Arts Centre Events

Whether you’re interested in music, performance, costume design or street art, the Mundaring Arts Centre has something for you these school holidays at the Midland Junction Arts Centre and Swan View Youth Centre. Along with visual arts workshops, the Centre is excited to announce performing arts workshops will be on offer for the very first time!

They have a series of exciting WOWA workshops to get everyone ready to enter the Worn Out Worn Art (WOWA) Wearable Art Performance on November 24. The performance showcases spectacular wearable creations by people of all ages and abilities throughout the historic Midland Junction Arts Centre (MJAC). Come along to a workshop with Sarah Zel Chesoe and make a headdress to inspire the rest of your creation, or, if the performance isn’t your thing, join street artist Dan Duggan and see your urban artwork suspended as part of the backdrop of the parade
