Join the Carols Youth Choir

Anyone who enjoys singing and is between 8 and 30 years is welcome to join the choir for the Glen Forrest Christmas Gathering on Monday 24 December. Be quick to put your name down as places fill fast. The rehearsals will be held at the Glen Forrest Hall and it is important that you attend all rehearsals.

Rehearsals:

  • Sunday 24 November, 4:00 – 6:00pm
  • Sunday 15 December, 4:00 – 6:00pm
  • Friday 20 December, 4:00 – 6:00pm
  • Saturday 21 December, 9:00 – 11:00am
  • Sunday 22 December, 3:00 – 6:00pm
  • Monday 23 December, 4:00pm sound check

VacSwim Bronze Medallion

If you are over 13 years old and love swimming, then you could get your Bronze Medallion. Make swimming a part of your summer plans and enrol to learn advanced survival, rescue and resuscitation skills. VacSwim Summer Swimming Lessons

Enrol now for VacSwim summer holiday swimming lessons!

With swimming pools and beaches a big part of the Western Australian lifestyle, it’s essential that your children learn how to swim and stay safe in the water. VacSwim is for all children – from beginners to more advanced swimmers. Your children can start as young as five years old.

There are over 180 VacSwim locations around Western Australia, so wherever your family is spending these summer holidays, there will be lessons near you.

Tuning in to Teens (Parenting Seminar)

Tuning in to Teens is a six session program for parents, with children aged 12 to 18 years. The program provides parents with a greater understanding of their teen’s emotional experiences. It also explores specific skills that help parents be supportive, empathic and stay connected with their teens. Learn more about:

  • understanding teenage development
  • supporting teens to manage difficult emotions
  • promoting positive behaviour
  • supporting teens to maintain friendships and deal with conflict
