CBCA Book Week 2017
All schools in the City of Swan are invited to participate in the Children’s Book Week celebration from 19 – 26 August 2017. The Children’s Book Week will wake students’ enthusiasm for literature, promote a love of reading and provide insight into the writing and illustration process. A variety of sessions will be held for students of all ages. All sessions are free, however, bookings are essential to secure a spot. Please refer to the following documents for more information:

Over 55s Expo
Learn more about how life gets better with age at the Over 55s Expo hosted by the City of Swan in the beautiful Swan Valley. The expo will feature a showcase of local and regional programs, activities and services available to over 55s in the City of Swan. There will be information stalls, exercising activities, cooking demonstrations, speakers and much more!

Small Mob Shearing Day
The Swan Valley Rotary Club is holding a small mob shearing day. Families are welcomed to come and watch the shearing which will include drenching, vaccination and de-licing treatments. A sausage sizzle and refreshments will be available on the day.

Craft & Art Classes
The Swan Valley Community Centre is holding a variety of art and sewing classes for interested students and adults this term. Learn new art and craft skills with a group a people with similar interest at a small price. Tea and coffee will also be provided in the sessions.
