The Junior School Blast Off Band has taken off this term. 27 students in Year 5 and 6 have taken up the offer of instrumental lessons and band practice each week.
The band had its first rehearsal last week and together we made an exciting start to making music. The concert band includes flutes, clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, trombones, baritone horns, tuba, bass guitar and percussion. Mr Raymond and Mr Dietrich will be having lots of fun each week making music with the Blast Off Band kids.
