Matthew 25:35 “For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home.”

On the last day of Term 1, the Year 2 classes held their first Cakes for Kantolomba cupcake sale.

The students were responsible for baking, selling and advertising the fundraiser as part of their Service Learning. Money raised will be used to sponsor a child in Zambia who attends the Light Up Ahead School. The students are so excited to make a difference in someone’s life, and to serve others. The day was a huge success with $311 raised for our sponsor child Joshua.

"I liked being able to sell the cakes to help make money for Joshua, so he can go to school and stuff”.  Taj Schorer

“I felt excited because we got to make cakes and sell them and raise lots of money to help Joshua”. Jamison Mullender

A big thank you to all our parent helpers and to everyone who supported us by buying a cupcake on the day.
