Swan Christian College is partnering with New Life Welfare, a member of Charity Link, and Variety Club to provide hampers for people in need in surrounding Middle Swan suburbs.
The Junior School wishes to continue spreading the joy of Christmas to families in the local community who are experiencing difficult circumstances. We would like to invite you to join us in donating items to this cause.
Each classroom has its own special collection basket which you will find either outside the door or at the front of the classroom. Below are some ideas of items you may wish to contribute.
• Christmas food (mince pies, Christmas cake, gingerbread)
• Drinks (non-alcoholic)
• General pantry items (non-perishable)
• Stationery items for families with children starting school next year
• Toiletries
The baskets will be collected on the last day of term. With the help of our generous school community, we hope to assist New Life Welfare in ‘sharing God’s love in a practical way’ and develop links with the local community.
