The Fred Hollows Award recognises Year 6 students who follow in Fred’s footsteps by making a positive difference in their community.
It celebrates students who show compassion, integrity and kindness in their everyday lives, just as Fred did. Year 6 student Danny Qin was nominated for this award by his class teacher Mrs Trew and a fellow peer who recognised Danny’s servant heart. He has been seen showing compassion towards others and frequently puts others before himself.
Danny attended a ceremony with his parents and Mr Donald Smith, where his contributions were acknowledged and celebrated in the Perth Constitution Centre.
