Pre Primary have been learning about community and the different roles people have in communities. This week we were privileged to have two important community helpers come and visit us.
Mr Donelan showed us how paramedics are important community helpers. We discussed how to make an emergency call if needed, the role of a paramedic and had a look inside the ambulance! Detective Gannaway and his team also came in to talk to us about a policeman’s role in the community. We learned that police have lots of different roles and equipment to keep us safe. We looked at the different uniforms police can wear, had a go at finger printing and our highlight was seeing and hearing two different police cars.
