A reminder to all Year 6 parents to book their tickets for the upcoming Year 6 Celebration by 3:00pm tomorrow (Friday 3 December).
The Year 6 Celebration is a night of honouring our Year 6 students and their achievements in Junior School. As part of the evening, students will be presenting their production ‘Adventures in Wemmicksville’. Students and teachers have been working hard on the performance this term and are looking forward to presenting to you on the night.
When:
Thursday 9 December at 6:30pm (students to arrive at 5:45pm)
Where:
Maali Mia Theatre, Swan Christian College
Guests:
There is no cost for admission. Guests will be served a light supper from 6:00pm. At 6:20pm, guests will be invited into the theatre (please note that no food or drink is to be consumed in the theatre). Due to the limited seating in the Maali Mia Theatre, seats are allocated, and families will be directed to their seats upon entry. This allows us to utilise available seating to better accommodate family groups.

Please book your tickets online at scea.me/year6celebration21 by 3 December, 3:00pm. There is a limit of four tickets per family. Your child does not require a ticket, as they will not be seated in the audience. For special request considerations, please contact swanevents@swan.wa.edu.au.
Below is a schedule of what students are to wear and bring leading up to the Celebration:
Monday 6 December – Wednesday 8 December
Students are to wear their sports uniform to school.
Thursday 9 December – During the school day
Students are to wear their sports uniform to school. Costumes for production are to be checked. Details for costuming will follow from class teachers.
Thursday 9 December – Evening
Students need to arrive at their classroom by 5:45pm, ready in their costumes.
Please note that students will not be changing post-production and will be remaining in their costumes for the remainder of the evening, therefore College uniforms are not required on the night.
