Ellenbrook Christian College is running a parent and teacher evening with Iain Lillico.
The Boys Forward Seminar will cover boys and their schooling. It gives parents strategies to help boys in their growth into adults and ways to get boys to talk about their feelings. The seminar will also explore ways in which parents can keep communication channels open with their sons.
The role of the teacher, nature and factors impacting on boys’ success are explained. Ian will delve into strategies that can be used to help boys to engage in subjects that they cannot see any value in. He will touch on subjects such as anger management and a number of other things.
Ian will also allocate some time during the evening for questions that parents and teachers may have.
