Please join us in congratulating Jasmine Lambert (Year 12 Hospitality trainee) for winning the HGT- Taste of the Future competition.
Jasmine cooked a ‘Shark Taco with smoked chipotle mayonnaise, pineapple and jalapeno salsa, bacon bits, coriander and lime’. She made her own blue corn tortillas - an unusual and creative component of the dish. The judges were very impressed and excited to taste the finished product. Despite having to overcome a few set-backs, Jasmine persevered, producing and presenting an industry standard dish.
We are very proud of what Jasmine has been able to achieve and would like to acknowledge the many hours of mentoring from Mrs Cardillo-Rawlins and Chef Rob do Carmo over the past two years.
