On Thursday 23 September at the Years 3-12 assembly, our Swan Language Ambassadors were recognised for their efforts in promoting languages at Swan Christian College and received their badges.
The Language Ambassadors are students in Years 7- 12 who study either French or Japanese, and have nominated to help promote languages within our College. They help run events during Languages Week and our annual Languages Showcase to highlight the importance of learning a language.
When we are able to organise international tours again and host exchange students, they will also help in welcoming these students and communicating to them in either French or Japanese. We are so grateful for their support, enthusiasm and initiative.
Our 2021 Language Ambassadors are Alyssa L (Year 8), Oliver M (Year 8), Ethan (Year 8), Reece (Year 8), Matthew B (Year 8), Liam (Year 8), Boudene (Year 11) and Alisa (Year 11).
All Senior School students are welcome to apply to be Language Ambassadors in 2022 if they are studying a language at Swan Christian College.
