The Year 9 students are undertaking their Story and Challenge rite of passage. In Week 1, each student received a 'talking stick' from Principal Adrian Scott in a ceremony marking the start of their journey.

They will be documenting their journey through the creation of a 'talking stick' which will require them to research, design and then inscribe their stick using a pyrography pen. This will be done under teacher supervision during Living Well classes and some Mentor Group classes. Further information about this journey can be found on the SEQTA cover page for their Living Well class.

We hope that this program will become a regular topic of conversation between you, your child and the significant others in their lives. We look forward to a meaningful and productive time during this important start of their journey from child to thriving adult.
