The Year 11 English General students have been experimenting with Virtual Reality (VR) this term. As part of our visual analysis unit, the students are using a range of VR applications and their VR goggles to explore this relatively new medium.
Students are identifying how VR can be used in a thriller narrative to engage the viewer, gaining a greater appreciation for free-climbing extraordinaire, Alex Honnold, by viewing his Free- Solo climbing attempt of El Capitan, and exploring the Guardian VR app. Students are appreciating the opportunity to learn through a more interactive experience.
