“Today we had a bit of a sleep-in and then a fat brekkie of bacon and eggs and other goodness. We then hit the ferry to Caticlan for a church service which was pretty similar to the ones back home. The pastor’s speech went for a tad too long, causing a few of us boys to catch up on a few z’s. After that, we headed up the mountains for a jungle trek to a village. A bunch of us boys had a swim at the bottom of a waterfall, followed by a game of basketball against the locals (winning 3/3 games with height and pure talent ). The rest of the team commenced the feeding program with the younger locals and learned to tie bamboo strands. We headed back to Boracay, had a sunset swim and then set off for a good feed. (PS Mum I’m not burnt 😉 )” – Evan F

“Today, I attended church for the first time in the morning. It was very welcoming and different to what I expected. Later today we went on a 20-minute hike to meet the Masa Ati tribe where we did arts with them and played basketball. I also had a swim in the river close by.” – Rhys B
