We are glad to announce the confirmation of Mr. Adrian Scott as the next Principal of Swan Christian College. With over 30 years of teaching experience, including more than 20 years in leadership positions in Christian schools, Adrian brings a diverse skill set to the College and our Association.

Adrian is a member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church in South Perth, and has served on their Worship Committee.

While serving in Leadership Roles, Adrian has successfully implemented a number of school improvement initiatives, including the implementation of a Middle School structure and the roll out of a variety of curriculum-focused programs to improve academic rigour. He has also held Director of Music and Director of Performing Arts roles at a number of high-profile Christian schools in WA and Queensland, and brings his passion for music to Swan Christian College.

Adrian joins Swan Christian College following three years as Principal of Serpentine Jarrahdale Grammar School, an independent Christian school in WA.

Educated in WA, Adrian is a member of the Australian Council of Educational Leaders and the Australian College of Educators.

He is also undertaking a Master of Educational Leadership at the University of Western Australia.

Adrian will join the College as Principal Elect in Term 4, working part-time to ensure a smooth handover from Stephen Lee, whose time as Caretaker Principal will conclude at the end of 2015. This transition will give Adrian time to be introduced to the College’s students, parents, staff and programs; and allow him input into planning and decision making for his commencement on 1 January 2016. We welcome Adrian to Swan Christian College and to our Association and ask you to keep Adrian and his family in your prayers as he transitions into his new role.
