The seven schools of Swan Christian Education Association are once again preparing for their annual celebration of world languages and the various languages spoken in our multi-cultural school communities.
In 2018, this event drew around 100 finalists from all our primary schools and colleges who performed in 15 different languages.
Audition details
To audition for the competition, students in both the Junior and Middle/Senior School are invited to present a poem, song or a short drama of no more than 3 minutes in any recognised language but English.
Students may audition individually, in pairs or in groups of no more than four students. At least half of the performance must be in the second language, and any backing tracks must be instrumental only without the singing of the original artist.
Three performances from the Junior School and three from Middle/Senior School will be invited to represent Swan Christian College at the SCEAvision Finals on Tuesday 27 August 6:00-8:00pm at the Maali Mia.
