Over 300 people filled the back oval of the College for the inaugural Family Fun Night.
This event raised money for the upcoming Zambia Impact Trip and for College Parent Committee projects. The night was a huge success with over $4000 raised for these causes.
Families were able to enjoy a variety of games face painting and inflatables. For those wanting to eat there was a broad selection from the cake stalls, popcorn, fairy floss, sausage sizzle and ice cream van.
The pace of the night slowed down at dusk as the families settled back in their deck chairs and on picnic blankets to watch a G rated movie on the cinema sized outdoor screen. The Lord was very kind to us by providing perfect weather for the night.
I huge thank you must go out to the many student and parent volunteers who worked hard to make the night trouble free! Please consider coming to the Family Fun Night next year. It is a great opportunity for the Swan Christian College community to come together.
