Instrumental Music Program in 2021

We currently have availabilities for music lessons in most orchestral and popular music instruments but are particularly keen to get more students involved in our bands and string ensembles – this means we are very interested to start Double Bass, Brass and Woodwind students.

All students who learn through Swan are expected to belong to one of the College’s performing groups as part of their commitment to learning music. This not only develops their musical skills and gives them a reason to work, but it is a great way for them to contribute to the life of the College.

Group lessons are available and make for very affordable lessons ($18 per lesson) providing there are two or more students of a similar standard wanting group lessons on the same instrument. Both individual and group lessons are delivered by our wonderful team of qualified tutors.

Students come out of class on a rotating timetable for their lessons, so they don’t miss out on the same class lesson each week.

If you wish to commence instrumental music lessons in 2021, please complete the application form available on SEQTA and submit it to andrew.raymond@swan.wa.edu.au by the end of the year.

A reminder that if you are intending to withdraw from music lessons next year, we need to have notification in writing by the end of this year.

Please don’t hesitate to ask if you have any questions about our instrumental music program.
