The annual Swan Christian College Photography Competition has been a great success.
This year, we received sponsorship from Leederville Cameras who donated vouchers for the winner and runner up in each category.
Year 12 student Jeremy Moore assisted the Media Department to determine the scope of the competition, designed marketing material and collated entries. This year’s judges included Miss Jamee Magee, Mr Clive Smith and Mrs Marli van der Merwe who generously offered their time to deliberate over the top achievers in each category.
A Special Thanks goes out to Mr Simon James who worked hard to make this competition such a great success. Among other things, Mr James created an attractive display in the Library to encourage students to enter the competition, communicated with key stakeholders and ensured that winning photographs are now displayed in the Maali Mia foyer for all to enjoy. Photographs will also be displayed as part of the Arts Showcase in Week 8 of this term.
