In Week 4, the Super Soupers team of student volunteers made a record 340 litres of soup for the homeless. This equates to 1360 servings of soup which will now be served by the Salvation Army to Perth’s homeless community.

Credit for this great achievement can also be extended to the Pre Primary students who grew a large number of carrots and potatoes in their veggie garden beds. The children were very excited to taste the soups after they were made, and they felt good about doing their bit to help people in need. We also send out Year 12 volunteers on a monthly basis to work with the Salvation army to distribute the soup.
