The Sleep Out for the Homeless has been run at Swan Christian College for over 10 years. The night involves students sleeping out to raise empathy and awareness of homelessness.
We are seeking to raise funds and collect tin food for the Salvation Army who are committed to tackle the growing issue of homelessness in our society. The event will involve the students participating in a range of activities and group games, toasting marshmallows, craft activities and hearing a guest speaker from the Salvation Army.
When: 12 and 13 October
Time: 4:30pm - 8:30am (next morning)
Cost: $30 - which includes donations and meals
