Thomas and Joshua M and their friends decided to step up when they saw a need in their community.
The boys heard that Dreambuilders Care's soup and sandwich night wanted to provide warm socks for the people that attend the event, but were unable to. Together the kindhearted group wrote a letter that was hand delivered to managers and stores in Midland Gate, and also used the hashtag #heattheirfeet on social media to explain their need for socks and promote the cause. The College commends the efforts of the boys who had a target of 221 pairs of socks but almost tripled their donations to 616 pairs! Well done Thomas and Joshua.
