Friday 15 March saw schools across Australia taking part in the ninth National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA).
5726 Australian schools are official NDA schools in 2019 and are part of a nationwide movement celebrating this year's theme of Bullying. No Way! Take action every day.
The NDA gives schools the chance to take action and empower young people to be part of the solution when addressing bullying in their school community. It provides an opportunity to focus on bullying and the changes we can all make to help create safer communities for everyone.
Across the College, staff and students participated in promoting Culture and Community. Students in both the Middle and Senior School used Mentor Group time to unpack this theme, whilst the Junior School students were introduced to this during assembly on Friday afternoon and will continue to look at this topic throughout this week. Students have been actively learning about the key areas of forming good relationships, what is bullying, and how to cope with bullying.
