Following an announcement by the State Government in August regarding the opening of the Airport Line, we have been informed of significant changes to the TransPerth bus network in the Eastern suburbs, taking effect from Monday, 10 October 2022.

All families are encouraged to visit the TransPerth website before returning to school for Term 4 to plan their journey, as your current route may no longer exist, experience time/stand changes, or there may be a new service available that will improve your child’s public transport journey.

We are excited to inform you that as part of the network variations, a major change is being made to Route 353, leaving from Bassendean Station to Swan Christian College via Caversham and Dayton.

Before School Route 353

From Stand 3 at Bassendean Station (7.45am), all stops via R Railway Pde, L Lord St, R Benara Rd, L Bennett St, L Bennett St, R Patricia St / Suffolk St, L Arthur St, then express via R Coast Rd, R West Swan Rd, L Reid Hwy, L Great Northern Hwy, L to Swan Christian College

After School Route 353

From Stand 2 (Stop No 15544) at Swan Christian College (3.20pm), express via R Great Northern Hwy, R Reid Hwy, R West Swan Rd, L Coast Rd, then all stops via L Arthur St, R Suffolk St / Particia St, L Bennett St, R Bennett St, R Benara Rd, L Lord St, R Railway Pde, L to Bassendean Station.

All of the information regarding the changes is available in the document ‘Transperth services to Swan Christian College‘ and on the TransPerth website.

All enquiries regarding these changes from students and parents should be directed to the TransPerth Hotline on 13 62 13 or via the online feedback form on the TransPerth website.
