Our Junior School community gathered in the Gym on Wednesday 1 April for the Easter Assembly.
Led by our Student Leaders, the assembly helped students reflect on the true meaning of Easter. Our guest speaker, Mr Tallis Dumbleton, shared about why Christians are grateful for Jesus and the hope that Easter brings.
The afternoon also included beautiful performances from the Piccolo Choir, Avanti Choir and the Year 5-6 String Ensemble, showcasing the musical gifts of our students.
The assembly ended with a fun Easter egg game involving parents and Student Leaders. Participants were challenged to catch and throw Easter eggs into a basket, with plenty of laughter from the crowd. In the end, the students came out on top and claimed the win.
To finish the term, students also enjoyed Easter egg hunts around the Junior School on the last day of Term 1, Thursday 2 April. These hunts were a fun way to celebrate the end of term, with students eagerly searching for hidden eggs and sharing the excitement with their classmates.
