What is STEM?

The STEM disciplines, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics are an identified high priority of all Western Governments. The convergence of these learning areas in schools is seen as a strategic means by which to drive future productivity and economic growth.

The Executive and Heads of Learning Area of Science, Mathematics and Design and Technology are overseeing the implementation of STEM initiatives at Swan Christian College. Please watch the Inform closely for some of our exciting innovations.

General Information regarding Senior School Scholarships in 2017

Swan Christian College is offering an Academic Scholarship Program for students entering Year 10 in 2017.  

This is a Senior School Scholarship running over three years (Years 10-12). Year 9 students who are currently enrolled at the College and Year 9 students who attend schools outside the College are invited to apply.  

Academic Scholarship applicants must demonstrate strong academic performance in the Australian Core Skills Framework Level 2 examination. The exam consists of 3 subtests in the areas of Humanities, Mathematics/Science and Written Expression. Duration of the exam is approximately 2 ½ hours (with a short break in the middle of the two sections of the exam).  Cost is $110

The Scholarship Exam will take place 9:00am at Swan Christian College on Saturday 19 March 2016.
