Last week, our Year 3 students did a wonderful job leading the assembly and confidently shared important lessons about our CHARIS virtues with the College community. Through songs, presentations and speaking parts, students reminded us of the importance of showing Christ-like character in our everyday lives.
The assembly also focused on the Bible story of the wise man who built his house on the rock from Matthew 7:24-27. Students shared how building our lives on Jesus gives us a strong foundation that can withstand life’s challenges, just as a house built on rock stands firm during storms.
Thank you to our Year 3 students and staff for their hard work and preparation in presenting such a meaningful assembly.

Today, our Kindergarten to Year 5 students enjoyed a fun and engaging incursion with Constable Care. Through interactive performances and activities, students learned important lessons about keeping safe and making wise choices in everyday situations.
Thank you to the Constable Care team for presenting these valuable safety messages in such an enjoyable way.
Led by Miss Gillian Erasmus, a selected group of Year 10 students represented the College in the Ethics Olympiad Competition on Thursday, 28 May 2026. This prestigious competition provides students with the opportunity to explore ethical theories and engage in thoughtful, respectful discussion with peers from across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia–Pacific region.
This year, the team competed against 415 national and international teams and received an Honourable Mention from the judges. While the team did not place on the podium, this recognition is an outstanding achievement given the exceptionally strong field of competitors.
Many participating schools teach ethics and philosophy as dedicated subjects and had been preparing since the beginning of the year. In comparison, our students had only five weeks of preparation this term, with approximately one lesson each week.
The students are to be commended for the maturity, critical thinking, and collaboration they demonstrated throughout the competition. We congratulate them on representing the College so well.
