Dear Parent/Guardian

This week we welcomed back our staff for Term 1. Our teaching staff and Education Assistants returned on Wednesday, the same day our Year 11 students enjoyed their River Cruise at Elizabeth Quay and our Year 12s celebrated a memorable evening at the Charity Ball held at Kings Park. Our Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Days for Years 6 to 9 and 11 to 12 ran smoothly on Wednesday and Thursday. On Thursday, we also hosted our Swanonline Welcome Day, connecting with Swanonline students and their families. Today, we welcomed our Year 7 students to the start of Term 1 and held our Year 10 Managed Device Deployment Day as part of the SCEA Managed Device Program.

Looking ahead, next week’s events include:

  • Monday: First day back for all other year groups (except Year 12 STTC students); New Parent Morning Tea

  • Tuesday: STTC Year 12 students return; Junior School Parent Information Night

  • Friday: Year 4–6 Swimming Trials; Excelsior Assembly

"Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

Early Bird Discounted Tickets on Sale for The Sound of No Music!

We are excited to present Fenceline Theatre Company’s latest production, The Sound of No Music! Featuring our Senior School students, this promises to be a hilarious production.

What is it about?
This is a comic farce about a theatre company that has lost its money! In a desperate attempt to rebuild the coffers, they need a show in a hurry and decide to do a whodunnit mystery in an Austrian Abbey called The Sound of No Music. As the rehearsals commence, so does the chaos and the ensemble navigate their parody, while trying to find out where that money has gone.

Purchase your tickets now before Term 2 at discounted prices at The Sound of No Music.

Dates: Tues 28 April | Wed 29 April | Thurs 30 April | Fri 1 May | Saturday 2 May

Times: 7:15pm – 9:00pm
Venue: Maali Mia Theatre

Midland Line Closure: 22 January – 22 February 2026

As part of the New Midland Station Project, the Public Transport Authority has advised that Transperth services on the Midland Line between Midland and Bassendean will be cancelled from 22 January to Sunday 22 February 2026.

This closure may affect students and staff who regularly travel to the College using this service. Train replacement buses will be in operation during the shutdown, however we strongly encourage families to plan ahead and allow extra time for travel during this period.

Transperth will be conducting a full awareness campaign to notify passengers, but we recommend checking the latest updates directly via their website: www.transperth.wa.gov.au

Thank you for your understanding as this public transport upgrade progresses.
