Immunisation Information for Families

The College provides student immunisation information to the Western Australian Department of Health as part of routine health reporting. This allows the Department to monitor immunisation coverage and support families where needed.

If your child is identified as being under-vaccinated, the Department of Health will contact you directly to provide guidance and support in accessing local immunisation services.

Families seeking further information or assistance can visit the HealthyWA website for resources and advice:

If you have questions about immunisation, you can also contact the Department of Health at immunisation@health.wa.gov.au

Parking Reminder – Junior School and Senior School

We ask all families to please take care when parking on campus.

The bitumen parking area is reserved for Junior School families at pick-up time. Senior School parents are asked not to park in this area until after 3:10pm. Senior School families should use the limestone parking area and leave the bitumen spaces available for Junior School parents.

Please also ensure you are parking in designated areas only. Some parents have been found parking on the utility road, which is strictly for buses only. We have been informed that a fine of $3000 was recently issued by the council after a vehicle was photographed parking incorrectly. The local council monitors parking, and number plates are recorded.

Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and respectful environment for all families.

Year 6 Boys Shine at Tennis Carnival

22 of our Year 6 boys took to the grass courts at Alexander Park Tennis Club on Thursday to compete in a modified tennis format, representing Swan with great effort and sportsmanship throughout the day.

The competition involved multiple rounds of singles and doubles matches, giving the boys plenty of opportunities to demonstrate their skill, teamwork and determination. It was encouraging to see such strong participation, with three out of our five teams progressing through to their respective grand finals.

Our 1st Squad delivered an outstanding performance, finishing the day as overall runners-up in the Academy Plate. The title was claimed by Wesley College after a spirited and closely contested final.

It was a fantastic effort from all the boys and a great day of tennis for Swan. We are proud of the way our students represented the College both on and off the court.

Senior School Assembly

Today we celebrated the sporting and academic achievements of some of our students at the Senior School Assembly.

Three of the students who qualified for the National Athletics Championships in Brisbane were commended for their outstanding sporting achievements. At the State athletics championships recently, Sofie G (Year 10) achieved Bronze in the U17 400m hurdles. This is a first State medal for her, which she has been working hard for this season. She will be going to Brisbane in April for Nationals.

Autumn G (Year 9) achieved Gold in the U15 200m hurdles and Silver in the U15 90m hurdles. Again, she will be going to Nationals in Brisbane this April. She also achieved two State Gold medals with her sprint relay team at the end of the year.

Maddyson D in Year 8 claimed Gold in the 400m, dominating the race and finishing around 50 metres ahead of the field. She earned Silver in both the 100m and 200m events and will compete at the National Championships in Brisbane in mid-April.

Sebastian W (Year 12) was awarded the Grade 7 Piano for Leisure Repertoire and the Grade 3 Music Theory Certificates. And Shenton took the winning House award for the Languages Quiz.
