Do I have to have strong computer skills to study at Swanonline?
No. The process is straightforward and we have a wide variety of students using our system. Any student encountering difficulties are quickly attended to by our IT support network.

What computer software and hardware do I need to join Swanonline?
We recommend any laptop that is under 3 years old. You will need a modern web browser, eg. Safari, Explorer, Chrome or Firefox. You will also need a printer and a scanner. If you do not have a scanner you can download an app called Camscanner to a smart phone and use this.

What Internet requirements do I need?
You will require a broadband connection with a minimum bandwidth of 512kps. We recommend at least 10GB download per month per student enrolled in Swanonline. We also recommend wireless Internet access so that the students can be mobile. You can contact the school should you need some guidance in setting up your technology requirements.

Where should I study?
We recommend an area which is quiet, well lit, and easily supervised. Part of an office, the kitchen table or family room works well for many people.
