We are incredibly proud of our Year 12 students who participated in the World’s Greatest Shave on Friday, 30 August. With great courage, they shaved their heads or cut their long hair in the amphitheatre during lunchtime, all for a fantastic cause. The students set an ambitious fundraising target of $8,000 but went above and beyond, raising an impressive $10,012 for the Leukaemia Foundation.
Their dedication didn’t stop there! Our Head of Physical Education, Mr Sam Tweedie, agreed to remove his beard, and our Dean of Christian Living, Mr James Ellis, braved the shave, leaving his head exposed to the elements. Our Dean of Year 10, Mr David Pitman, also joined in the fun, sacrificing his beard for the cause.
We are grateful for their leadership and example of community spirit. Well done to everyone involved!
