The school recognises the importance of community and spiritual guidance in the education of their students. SCC regularly invites local church leaders to speak to students and staff during school events.
The college also provides opportunities for students to participate in community outreach programs organised by local churches. This includes volunteering at food banks, assisting in community events, and participating in mission trips.
SCC encourages their student body to participate in their local church activities and offers support for students to attend church services on Sundays. Furthermore, the school has a strong commitment to nurturing a Christian worldview, which it believes is crucial in developing young minds and preparing students for their future.
We at the college are thrilled to work in partnership with diverse groups to uplift and enable young people to reach their fullest potential.
Our partnerships empower youth to navigate the challenges they encounter in their pursuit of success and fulfilment. By teaming up with Christian organisations such as Lighthouse Cru, we’ve been able to provide an even greater breadth of support services such as counselling, mentoring, and educational support that positively impact the wider community.
The outcomes have been outstandingly positive. Together, these partnerships have helped to advance young people, ultimately leading to a brighter future for the next generation in the area. We’re fortunate to have such fruitful collaborations, and we are excited to see it continue.
