On Thursday 19 June, Maali Mia Theatre was filled with music and joy as students from the Junior School showcased their talents in two special events.
The afternoon began with the Year 3 String Program Concert at 2:00pm. Families were treated to performances by our Year 3 students, who shared what they have been learning as part of their string program. It was a proud moment for both students and staff as the young musicians confidently demonstrated their developing skills.
Later that evening, the Junior School Instrumental Evening brought together a range of performances, highlighting the progress of students involved in the Junior Concert Band, Drum Corps, guitar and string ensembles as part of the instrumental program. The Piccolo and Avanti choirs also took to the stage, performing a selection of choral pieces including a beautiful rendition of We Are the World.
Thank you to all the families who attended and supported our young musicians. It was a wonderful celebration of creativity, dedication and the joy of making music together.
