It’s been a busy and rewarding week across the College, with a number of activities giving students the chance to grow, connect and explore new opportunities. Students across the College participated in the SCEA Student Surveys, and we took part in the National Week of Action Against Bullying, with students encouraged to speak up and support one another. It was also Science Week, and Senior School students celebrated with a range of wonderful experiments and hands-on activities in their classes. On Tuesday, our Year 7 and 8 students represented the College at the NEAS Interschool Volleyball Carnival. Year 4 students enjoyed a Bush Survival experience at Kings Park on Wednesday, while our Year 12 Outdoor Education students embarked on a three-day Mountain Biking Camp. Junior School students continued rehearsals for the upcoming Hop it Poppit production, and Year 3 families attended an information evening ahead of camp. This morning, 500 people gathered in the Gym for the Swan Chamber of Commerce Breakfast, where 200 students from across the region engaged with employers to explore career pathways. Guests also enjoyed viewing a display of supercars by Carco. To round out the week, our Year 5 students led a vibrant and enjoyable assembly this afternoon.

We’re excited to invite families to this year’s Junior School production, Hop It, Poppit!, presented by Fenceline Theatre. This original performance promises a delightful mix of humour, heart and important life lessons.
What it’s about
Somewhere far, far away, a king and a queen lived in a castle, surrounded by their royal subjects – except the subjects were not so loyal. The people of the kingdom had grown tired of their king’s unkindness. Over time, he had become harsh and cruel, ignoring the queen’s gentle warnings. Then one day, something strange happened: the prince mysteriously turned into a frog and hopped right out of the kingdom!
Our Junior School students will bring this colourful and meaningful story to life through song, movement and drama. It’s a production the whole family will enjoy.
