On Tuesday 19 August, the whole College came together to celebrate Book Week, with students and staff alike embracing the joy of storytelling and creativity.
Senior School students and staff arrived dressed as their favourite book characters, adding colour and fun to the day. Meanwhile, the Junior School held its annual Book Week Parade in the Gym, with students showcasing imaginative costumes including Care Bears, T-Rex riders, Minecraft characters, lions, minions, fairies, princesses and many more.
A major highlight was the staff performance of The Great Big Enormous Turnip, which had students laughing and cheering. Miss Katie Greenhalgh, Head of Junior School, starred as the enormous turnip, supported by our Business Manager Ray and the maintenance team as garden gnomes. Teachers and staff joined in as dogs, cats, mice, broccoli, cucumbers, and the iconic farmer and his wife.
Thank you to all the parents who attended and for the time and effort put into creating such fantastic costumes for the students.
