Welcome to Term 2 2022

James 1:25Consider it pure joy, my brothers, and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.”

Last term was filled with various trials in navigating COVID with an emphasis on teaching and learning albeit a little differently. We were blessed with some activities taking place including our Year 12 Ball and we are grateful to God for His wisdom in leading and guiding us through a somewhat difficult start to 2022.

If you ask any parent what they desire for their child, they will say, “to be happy” - and we agree. Our staff at Swan, strive to set challenging yet attainable tasks not only in the classroom but on the sports field, in the theatre, gym, Trade Centre and online. It is our desire to walk alongside our parent community with a heart to see happy children, striving with perseverance to reach success and thriving in their learning and social interactions.

It is a delight to anticipate spending time at school where together all staff seek to make learning experiences engaging to empower and equip our students to flourish in life. Teachers, are the cornerstone to successful schools and our teachers continually give of their best in shaping the curriculum and culture according to Christian faith and values creating an environment where we can all truly belong, learn, and thrive. We aim to be a school of choice for parents, students, and staff where together we seek to inspire in our students a passion for learning that will bring the knowledge and understanding they need to make a positive contribution to the communities in which they live and work.

Swan Christian is a Kindergarten to Year 12 co-educational school accommodating over 1500 students and is comprised of four sub-schools:
