Our Year 2 students participated in an Aboriginal Myths and Legends Virtual Reality Incursion.
Students were immersed in Aboriginal culture using fully interactive games, 360 videos and an animated film outlining some of the popular beliefs of Aboriginal myths. The students have been learning through Integrated studies about Aboriginal Australian culture and traditions. The Incursion explored many sacred stories that have been passed down the generations through dance, art and storytelling. Using VR, the students learned how to hunt with a boomerang, eat grubs to survive and dance with authentic tribesmen.
