On Monday 12 August, the Pre-Primary children celebrated their WOW Day with a trip to the Swan Trade Training Centre.
When we arrived, Mr Newland spoke to us about safety, and the children were given safety glasses to wear. After a tour of the workshop, Mr Newland taught us how to safely use a hammer and nails. The Pre-Primary’s then drew pictures onto a piece of wood and hammered nails in, to enhance their design.
We had a wonderful time and enjoyed learning about different materials and how they can be used in a workshop to create new objects. Thank you Mr Newland!
