On Monday 22 February we had our Junior School House swimming carnival at Bayswater Waves. Students from Years 4 – 6 competed in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and freestyle relays.
The competitive events were followed by a rotation of fun water-based activities. Despite the hot weather, there was a great atmosphere, with regular House chants heard ringing out. At the end of the day, year level champion and runner up awards were given and the overall winning house was announced.
Congratulation to Mungulu, who just beat Bennett for the top spot on the day! I big thanks to Mr Negrulj for organising the event, and to the staff and Senior School student helpers for helping make the day run smoothly.
