The Year 2 A students put a remarkable effort into their assembly item “the Gigantic Turnip” with a visually engaging outcome.
In the item’s story, the characters all had to work together to pull up a gigantic turnip, which fit in well with what students learned in class as they had been studying push and pull forces. It was a wonderful effort from the students in the characters of an old man, old woman, big brown cow, two pot-bellied pigs, three black cats, four speckled hens, five white geese, six yellow canaries and one little white mouse!
