Stage 4 Restrictions Continue

WA did not progress to Stage 5 of the lifting of restrictions around infection control over the school holidays as anticipated. What this means is essentially that the way we were operating at the end of Term 2 remains in place for Term 3.

Students will continue to be supervised with regular hand washing and sanitisation. Desks and high contact surfaces will continue to be cleaned regularly and there is a role for students to assist with this. Drink bottles are also encouraged with all drink fountains still operating as water dispensers for the refilling of bottles and not as drinking bubblers.

Parents are still asked to refrain from entering classroom blocks in the mornings. Kindy and Pre Primary parents are asked to say good bye to children on the veranda of the ELC and meet children again on the veranda in the afternoons. Parents of Year 1 to Year 6 students are asked to move only as far as the covered playground area when saying goodbye to their children and then watch them move to their classroom blocks on their own. In the afternoons, parents are also asked to stay out of the buildings until 2:55pm.

I have really appreciated the willingness of parents to follow our requests for managing movement around the school. Thank you.
