It is a widely held view that a student who is in Year 9 is reaching a critical junction in their life as they transition from childhood into their adult years. To help them navigate their way through this journey, Swan Christian College offers the Year 9 students a program which will set them on a course to make wise decisions and build positive relationships.
On Monday 11 February, between 6:00pm and 6:45pm, Year 9 parents are invited to join us for an information session where we will unpack the various aspects of this program and look at how we can partner together to support your children through this process.
The information session will give the parents the opportunity to meet Mr Ian Harris, Dean of Year 9, Mr Simon Bergin, Deputy of Middle School and Mr Ray Hockley, Head of Service Learning.
At the end of this meeting, there will also be a short presentation regarding The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award which is offered to Year 9 students.
