Don’t forget to get your tickets for the formal Year 9 Celebration Dinner on Monday 12 November (boys) and Tuesday 13 November (girls).
The young gentlemen and ladies of the Year 9 cohort have been studying a program which focuses on the transition to manhood and womanhood through the concept of a right of passage. The idea of being a Godly man and woman with solid values and ethics is taught and encouraged throughout the Year 9 Wellbeing program.
The Sons and Daughters evening, held over two nights, is for all Year 9 boys and a ‘mother’ representative and all Year 9 girls and a ‘father’ representative to attend with them. Our boys are welcome to bring their mum, nana, aunty, older sister or another female who has invested heavily into their lives over their journey. Whilst the girls are invited to bring their dad, grandad, uncle, older brother or another male who has invested into their lives over their journey. During our time together, the students will have the opportunity to lead their guests in formal etiquette, listen to a guest speaker and debrief the Year 9 camp and wellbeing program as we partake in a three-course meal together.

A three-course menu (with an alternate drop for main), plus a soft drink, will be included. Please list any dietary requirements when making payment on the above site.
Throughout the wellbeing program, students have been encouraged to put into action two concepts:
- Honouring our fathers and mothers.
- Budgeting and being good stewards of money.
In an outworking of these two concepts, students have been given the challenge to save the cost and purchase the ticket to the event. To do this, each student could engage in part-time work, or conduct chores for family members for pocket money.
