The Year 12s were invited to an afternoon of bubble sports to celebrate the commencement of their Year 12 studies.
Students faced off against some brave staff members in a range of sporting activities including bubble soccer, bubble rugby and bubble British bulldogs. This event served as a fundraiser for the cohort’s sponsor children, with participants donating $5 per person.
The evening was finished with a sausage sizzle and a refreshing can of cool drink. The weather was perfect – sunshine and a light breeze.
Many thanks to Mrs van der Westhuizen and Mrs Botha for taking charge of the sausage sizzle. A huge congratulations to Mr Potts, Mr Entwistle, Mr Amoraal, Mr Ford and Mr Siani for being courageous enough to step into the bubbles with me and allowing the students to get in a few good knocks (including one which was forceful enough to prematurely end Mr Twine’s afternoon).
