The Literature Center in Fremantle offers a Talented Young Writers Program that runs at various stages throughout the year. Six of our intrepid young writers caught the train to Fremantle and enjoyed learning from acclaimed writer, Barry Jonsberg, author of ‘H is for Happiness’ and ‘Game Theory.’
The day was spent writing to various prompts, deconstructing texts and soaking up the writing tips and tricks from Barry. Students mixed with skillful writers from other schools which was a great opportunity to see how much breadth there is in the Perth young writing community.
