Our Netball club has flourished for many years and provides a wonderful environment and support for our students throughout the netball season. The club's parent committee has been in place and stable for several years, but the time has come where many of these dedicated parents are ready to step down as their daughters complete their time at Swan.

This has placed us at a point where the Deputy Head of Physical Education Mr Sam Tweedie, who chairs the committee, is looking for a new generation of parents to step in and take the club into its next vibrant stage of operation.

It is a mark of the dedication of the current committee members that they are prepared to stay on for a short period to ensure a smooth handover to new members.  We need mums and dads to step up for a year or two and help ensure that the netball club continues to provide opportunities for our netball players to flourish.

If you can help or want more information, please contact Mr Tweedie at and he will get back to you.

As this is the final edition of “Inform” for the year, I would like to thank all members of our community for the support you have provided this year.  It is wonderful to come together as parents, students, teachers and school support staff (I almost forgot grandparents!) to work together to ensure we are a learning community for all.

As we move into the festive season, I wish you all a happy, holy and safe Christmas and New Year, surrounded by family and friends.  May 2020 bring you health, happiness, contentment and God’s rich blessings.
